Programme of Events

From September to June we hold regular talks and presentations at our club rooms. All dates are Mondays, unless otherwise stated. Talks start at 7:45pm.
All Mondays except those listed below and every Friday are modelling evenings.

02 September	Exhibition Briefing Come along to find out all about the exhibition and what you can do to help.
05 October	61st Model Railway Exhibition Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield 10am - 5pm
06 October	61st Model Railway Exhibition Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield 10am - 4:30pm
07 October	Exhibition Tidy-Up and Debrief The trophies for the society's modelling competitions will also be presented.
14 October	Open Evening An opportunity for prospective members to see what the society has to offer.
04 November	Steel Manufacturing Malcolm Braim shows us how it’s made and the potential for modelling.
25 November	Vietnam - an Asian Adventure Martin Franklin takes us on a photographic tour of the railways and sights of this fascinating country.
16 December	Christmas Quiz Tony Morris returns with his annual exploration of what we do and don’t know about railways and more. Always a fun evening.
06 January	Annual Photographic Competition Your opportunity to show off your best photos taken in 2024.
