The exhibition is organised and managed on behalf of the members of the Society by a small team of volunteers. All officers are honorary, any surplus is devoted to the development of the model railway hobby in general and WRMS in particular.

The exhibition team acknowledge the help and assistance so willingly given by members, their wives and friends of the WRMS and by other Societies and also by individuals in the staging of the exhibition. Special thanks are also due to the Manager and staff of the Thornes Park Athletics Stadium for their co-operation before and during the event. Also without the assistance of visiting layout owners, demonstrators and trade support who have travelled from all over the country, this exhibition would not have been possible.
