Wakefield Railway Modellers' Society

Burgedorf represents an imaginary narrow gauge line somewhere in the Austrian Tyrol which is depicted as is would have been in the early 1970s. Whilst some timber and general goods traffic remain, the railway's main income comes from the tourist passenger trains, some being steam hauled.

Originally planned and build over twenty years ago, the layout has been completely rebuilt recently, whilst re-using much of the original equipment such as the rolling stock and buildings.
