A Scottish Regional terminus in the 1980s and featuring blue period diesels and is set along the North Clyde coast. This terminus would have originally been constructed by the North British Railway. However, the fishing industry which it was built to serve, is almost depleted and the tourist industry needs revitalising with more day-trippers from Glasgow.
The layout is operated with diesel locomotives and multiple units, typical of the location and period. The station still has the yard pilot which shunts the meagre freight traffic in and around the lochside.
The trackwork is Peco whilst many of the buildings have been modelled from actual locations in Scotland. The layout has been featured in Railway Modeller (March and November, 2002).
