Wakefield Railway Modellers' Society

An American narrow gauge based on the Colorado & Southern in the beautiful Rockies. The layout uses the Bachmann On30 stock which is the American 'O' scale narrow gauge, running on 'OO' track.

The reason for choosing to model this area was the rugged vertical scenery with the railway clinging to ledges on the mountain side and crossing deep gorges on rickety tressels.

When the layout is finished it will be 20ft by 10ft with a walk-in isleway. The main station boards are made portable for Exhibition use with the scenery being for floor to ceiling when completed.
