It is the morning of Tuesday, August 20th, 1968 on this branch line in deepest Surrey commuter land and what you see here is a might have been situation. This, the last branch line to be built in England, was to exploit the area by providing another loop line from Motspur Park to Leatherhead. Events started later that same year, 1939, on that fateful September Sunday morning ensured that this line would not, and still does not, extend beyond the Chessington (South) station.
We, the Southern Electric modellers of the Hull MRS, have extended the line and built a fifth station, a blend of the other four. The buildings are a reversed North station and the platforms are from the South station. You will, hopefully, see here an image of 1960s electric trains running with some of the displays that can go with such a system.
