Monday 28 April: ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.
The chance for you to get your name on the nomination sheet for election to the Committee. Please arrive early so that we can have a 7:45.p.m. start. Any proposed rule changes must be in the hands of the Secretary twenty eight days before this date.
May 2008
Monday 5 May: Bank holiday.
The clubrooms may be open. Please check at previous meeting.
Monday 12 May: Modelling evening.
Monday 19 May: "MULTUM IN PARVO" - Ralph Martin.
Ralph is a member of the Huddersfield Railway Circle and usually visits us when Brian Kilner gives us his annual slide show. This evening he is the star attraction and those of us who were taught Latin at school might be able to guess the subject matter of his slide show. Non-Latin scholars will have to wait and see but it's likely that there will be a fair amount of steam power on show.
Monday 26 May: Bank holiday.
The clubrooms may be open. Please check at previous meeting.
June 2008
Monday 2 June: Modelling evening.
Monday 9 June: Modelling evening.
Monday 16 June: ALL YOUR OWN
Another opportunity to stand up in front of your fellow members and tell us all about your current or proposed modelling project.
Monday 23 June: Modelling evening.
Monday 30 June: SUMMER AUCTION SALE.
Bring along any models, odds and ends or junk and see if you can sell them to your fellow members. 10% to the Society. Just remember that, whatever you buy, you'll probably be able to sell it on the second-hand stall at the exhibition for a higher price.!
July 2008
Monday 7 July: ANNUAL OUTSIDE TIDY-UP.
It is hoped that all members who can get to the clubrooms will help to get rid of the rubbish that accumulates around the outside of the club building. Please bring along any tools that you think might be of use. Remember, after the problems that we had with one of our neighbours last year, please do NOT put any rubbish into the skips lying adjacent to any of the other buildings. All rubbish should be placed into black plastic sacks and taken away for disposal.
