September 2010
September 6th: Scenic Britain by Train Author Stephen Gay who gave a fascinating talk in 2008 called "Woodhead’s Lost Route" makes a welcome return to the society. This time, Stephen and his dog Wrawby are exploring Scotland and England’s railways.
September 13th: Modelling evening
September 20th: Bill Wilder Slide Show Martin will be showing some of Bill’s vast collection of slides and digital images from around the UK and abroad.

October 2010
October 4th: Across the States One of our past speakers, Ken Horan returns with a digital presentation of a trip across north America.
October 11th: Modelling evening
October 18th: Annual Exhibition Briefing Jamie will brief the members about the upcoming exhibition. The remainder of the evening will be taken up by modelling activities.
October 25th: Industrial Steam and Diesel Ian Smith of Middleton and KWVR returns with a slide show and talk on Industrial locomotives, focusing on mainly steam and diesel, with some foreign Models. Old and modern era will be featured.

November 26th-28th: Society’s Annual Exhibition, Thornes Park Stadium
November 29th: Post-show storage of exhibition equipment. Exhibition manager’s
post-exhibition debrief Please lend a hand to put away the exhibition equipment. Jamie will then brief the membership on how successful the exhibition has been and discuss what, if any improvements can be made to our next show.
December 2010
December 1st: The society’s annual dinner
December 6th: Restoring LNER Coaches Murray Brown presents a show about the restoration of Gresley teak coaches. There is a LOT more to this talk than just restoration of coaches. This presentation comes highly recommended.
December 13th: Modelling evening
December 20th: The Annual Quiz This year’s quiz master, Tony Morris promises us some "easy" questions, some of which will be off the beaten track.
December 27th: Bank Holiday - modelling evening for die-hard members.
